Nicole has more than 16 years of experience providing health, safety and environmental leadership in challenging environments. Both a Certified Industrial Hygienist (American Board of Industrial Hygiene) and Certified Safety Professional (Board of Certified Safety Professionals), she has worked in public and private industry, mining, government, and international construction megaprojects. Nicole currently serves as the Safety, Health, & Environmental (SHE) Director for AECOM Qatar, as well as the H&S Manager role on the New Port Project – a 7+ billion USD port project in Qatar. In addition, she has led SH&E on both the New Orbital Highway (5 billion USD) and Lusail Expressway (1+ billion USD) projects under Ashghal’s Expressway Programme. She is well versed in Middle East HSE regulations including Qatar Construction Standards and Qatar Labor Law. She has extensive knowledge of labor accommodation, worker welfare regulations and guidelines in the State of Qatar and has a proven track record of initiating and implementing compliance measures and improvements on construction sites and in worker labor accommodations. Nicole is also a skilled HSE Trainer (Safeland/SafeGulf USA Instructor, Authorized OSHA Construction, Part 49 New Miner MSHA).
